-
Connecting the Pen Display
- Turn the device over so the bottom side is facing up.
- Plug the Micro USB end of the USB cable into the Micro USB Port on the device.
- Connect the Main USB A cable to the computer. The Secondary USB A cable can be connected to a fully powered USB port on the computer, or to an AC outlet using the supplied power adapter.
- NOTE: When connecting the USB cable directly to the computer, the screen of the tablet may flicker if the computer power is insufficient. In this case, please connect the secondary USB A cable (shown in red) to the power adapter and plug the adapter into an AC outlet to ensure that there is enough power for the pen display.
Adjustable Stand Legs
There are three (3) adjustable stand legs on the pen display. This allows for a viewing angle of 0°, 15°, or 20° in portrait orientation; and 0°, 9°, 13° in landscape orientation.
Changing to Portrait Orientation
In order to use the adjustable stand in portrait orientation, one adjustable stand leg must be unscrewed, rotated, and screwed back into place.
Additionally, it is recommended that the pen holder is also rotated.
- NOTE: A small cover plate hides the screws, please remove first.
Using the Pen Tether
The Pen Tether can be attached to the Pen and to the available anchor point.
Using the Touch Function (PD1213T only)
The PD1213T can detect up to 10 fingers simultaneously depending on the application.
When using the touch function, please note:
- The touch function may need about five (5) seconds to resume if the USB cable is removed and plugged in again, or the computer resumes from Sleep Mode.
- The touchscreen can only detect up to ten (10) fingers simultaneously.
- If the Windows’ cursor does not accurately follow your finger when you touch the screen, do the following:
- Open: Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Tablet PC Settings.
- Select Calibration.
- Follow the instructions to recalibrate your screen.
Setting the Display Area
After the pen display is connected to the computer, the Display settings will need to be adjusted. To access your computer’s Display settings:
