Troubleshooting Common Problems

This section describes some common problems that you may experience when using the ViewBoard.

NOTE: Some problems/solutions may not be applicable to your device.

General

Problem or Issue	Possible Solutions
Remote Control is not working	Check whether something is obstructing the display’s remote control receiver. Check whether the batteries in the remote control are installed correctly. Check whether the batteries need to be replaced.
The unit turns off unexpectedly	Check whether Sleep mode is enabled. Check if there is a power outage in your area. Turn on the display and see if the problem is with the signal and control system.

PC Mode

Problem or Issue	Possible Solutions
No PC signal	Check the display settings. Check the display resolution. Adjust the Hs &Vs (synchronization) settings using the OSD menu.
Background streaking	Choose auto adjust. Adjust clock and phase.
False color	Check the VGA connection. Adjust the chroma, brightness, and contrast settings.
Unsupported format	Choose auto adjust. Adjust clock and phase settings.

Touch Function

Problem or Issue	Possible Solutions
Touch function	Check that drivers are installed correctly. Reinstall driver(s). Check setup and align it. Check whether the touch pen is working properly.

Video Not Working Properly

Problem or Issue	Possible Solutions
No picture / No sound	Check the Power status. Check the signal cable. Check that the internal PC is installed correctly.
Picture is unclear or cuts in and out	Check the signal cable. Check if other electronics are interrupting the signal.
Poor quality picture	Adjust chroma, brightness, and contrast settings in the menu. Check the signal cable.

Audio Not Working Properly

Problem or Issue	Possible Solutions
No sound	Press the Mute/Unmute button. Adjust the volume. Check the audio cable.
One speaker only	Adjust the sound balance in the menu. Check the sound control panel settings of the computer. Check the audio cable. NOTE: SPDIF and Audio Out only work in Embd Player, HDMI, and DisplayPort (DP) channels.
