Initial Setup

Tilt Angle Adjustment

Tilt the monitor backwards to the desired viewing angle by using the attached stand (0° to 90°). For best results, use a tilt angle between 20° and 90°.

The monitor tilted back on its kickstand, with an arrow showing the stand opens up to 90 degrees.
Note:
  • When adjusting, support the monitor firmly with one hand while tilting the stand backwards with the other hand.
  • Always place the monitor on a flat, stable surface. Failure to do so may cause the monitor to fall and damage the monitor and/or result in personal injury.

Adjusting the Monitor

Adjusting the monitor to the desired viewing angle (0° to 340°).

Adjust the viewing angle of the monitor.
Note:
  • Some resistance is normal and expected when adjusting the monitor. Don’t apply excessive force especially when adjusting into Share Mode.
  • It is recommended to place the monitor with the I/O ports facing upwards when pivoting to the landscape orientation to avoid bending the cables.

Making Connections

Connecting to Power

USB Type C

Side of the monitor with the Type C1 and Type C2 ports highlighted and a USB Type C cable going from the Type C1 or Type C2 port to a laptop, tablet, or phone.

Connect the USB Type C cable from your external device to the USB Type C (Type C1 or Type C2) port on the monitor.

Note: Both the Type C1 and Type C2 ports support video and up to 65W of power. Connect the included power adapter to either port to charge your device connected to the other port.

Power Adapter

The power adapter connected by a USB Type C cable to the Type C1, Type C2, or Type C3 port on the side of the monitor.

Connect one end of the USB Type C cable to the power adapter, then the other end to any of the USB Type C ports on the monitor.

Note:
  • The Type C3 port only supplies power to the monitor. The port does not support video or data transfer.
  • Connect the included power adapter to the Type C3 port to ensure stable performance.

Connecting to Video

Side of the monitor with the Type C1 and Type C2 ports highlighted.
  1. Connect one end of a USB Type C cable to the USB Type C (Type C1 or Type C2[1]) port of the monitor.
  2. Plug the other end of the cable into the full-featured USB port of your computer.
Note: The Type C1 port supports video output for the upper screen only. To adjust the volume or display settings for this screen, use the connected device’s system settings. To display the full functionality on both screens, use the Type C2 port.
With Type C1 connected, the laptop's image (A) appears only on the upper screen; with Type C2 connected, image B appears on both screens.
  1. ↑ The device connecting to the Type C2 port is, by default, the main input signal when both USB TypeC ports are connected. To manually change the input source, use the Input menu to select the other video input.

Power Delivery

The monitor supports two-way power charging (sending or receiving power) via either the Type C1 or Type C2 port. By default, the power adapter will be the primary power source when multiple USB Type C ports are connected.

Power Guideline

  • To ensure stable performance in all Display Modes, connect the included power adapter to the Type C3 port. The Type C3 port only supplies power to the monitor.
  • If the power input is low, the monitor automatically adjusts the default brightness to 70 and volume to 50.
Important: Performing adjustments during low power conditions may cause the system to black out, lose power, or restart unexpectedly.
  • If the power input is lower than 15W (< 5V/3A), the monitor will enter standby mode. Connect the included power adapter to resume operation.
Power Guideline.
Connected Port Screen Displayed Minimum Wattage Required Description
Type C1 Upper screen 15W Transfers video and power.
Type C1 Upper screen 15W Supports up to 65W of power to the connected device when the power adapter is connected to the Type C2 port.
Type C2 Both screens 30W Transfers audio, video, and power.
Type C2 Both screens 30W Supports up to 65W of power to the connected device when the power adapter is connected to the Type C1 port.
Note:
  • Use the included USB Type C cable, or alternatively a full-featured USB Type C cable that supports DP Alt Mode (DP 1.2) and 65W (20V/3.25A) power delivery.
  • To avoid flickering or black screen when using the Type C1 or Type C2 port, connect the included power adapter to the Type C3 port.
  • To ensure the best user experience, note that the display stability, resolution, and response time are primarily determined by the graphics processing unit and operating system settings of your connected device. Display lag or connection instability may occur when: » Using hardware or mobile devices with limited graphics processing power. » Connecting multiple video outputs from a single device to the monitor simultaneously.
